My husband and I want to pack up and move to Chicago from Ohio. However, we don't know where to start looking. I have been looking online for houses for rent(mostly it is apart. bdls and houses for sale), and I am not having any luck, and we don't know exactly what part of chicago to move to. (I know, I know)... but we are looking for a nice neighborhood near public transportation, cool bars and shops etc. A few people have told me to check out WP/Bucktown area, or LP,.... any other suggestions??

Houses for rent do seem to be pretty rare in the popular neighborhoods, probably mostly because anyone who can afford to rent one would really just buy one. Do you have your heart set on a house? How much are you looking to spend? how many bedrooms? That's will help us a bit more.
