Anybody going? White Sox or Cubs.

I'll be at U.S. Cellular Field decked out in black on April 7th myself.

Sadly I'm not, but if I could, I'd be there decked out in black with you.

Hmmm...maybe we could meet up later in the year. I'll be going to several games.

Baseball this early usually isn't fun. I don't like my beer to freeze before I can drink it.

I won't be there on Opening Day, but I'll be doing a rare crosstown doubleheader on April 15th - U.S. Cellular for a Sox game during the day and Wrigley for a Cubs game at night (kind of weird how that was scheduled - you would think that it would be the other way around). I'm a die-hard Sox fan and I'll be going with a buddy that's a die-hard Cubs fan - we've been talking about doing this for years but it hadn't worked out until now. I can't wait!

Heh. I hear you, j33. All that black I'll be decked out in will be covered in a heavy, warm black coat.

Darn, Frank! We almost bought tickets to that April 15th game, but I wanted to take the kids, so we opted for the half-price Monday game the day before. Maybe I can meet you at another game, too.

You guys are making me depressed. The NHL season is coming to an end and it always bums me when it does. Theres nothing better than October when the NHL season starts, and I dust off the Hawks and Habs jersey and order my first tickets of the year. Its a great feeling! And you guys get to enjoy that feeling starting next week, must be nice.

And no, I wont be attending the opener. I dont know when Ill be able to get to a game.

Why MLB continues to schedule the Cubs and Sox at home (as well as other cold region teams that have no domes) at home the first week and even second week of the season is beyond me.

Well, opening day last year for the Sox was perfect. 70 degrees and sunny. We had the center field pavilion which included food and beer. And it turned out, that was necessary, as the Sox previewed the season by getting trounced by the Tribe. If I had to pay 7 bucks for every beer I drank that day, it would've been ugly.

Anyways, I've got the Ozzie plan this year so I'll be there opening day, despite being disgusted with how this organization is being run currently.
