the ones i cant handle and are painful are the bucket boys.. whether in the subway or outside. I had a migraine headache and had to deal with a couple of the banging on plastic garbage pails (drumming) and i asked them to please stop a couple minutes till i got on the train.. in the subway.. but they did not. it was so painful.

I dont know about robbing, but one caution -
I was taking the train in Ogilvie, so i was eating dinner.. So a group of guys were going around asking (politely) for donations for their fellow bucket boy whose family member died and they were collecting for a funeral.
Would you have donated for this reason? (i wont say what i did)

Not one cent to those scam artists. It is all *******s, basically Chicago's own squeegee boys. Same with the candy kids in River North with their pimp-handler glaring at people 50 feet away. Same with the charlatans going from train car to train car pleading for money so they don't go back to gang banging. Or the "free cd" scam artists. They're all one step away from violence.
