I went last year and again last weekend while visiting Chicago from California. I really liked it both years. This year it was bigger, it seemed. There were a lot of super freaky folk, and I was pretty creeped out the whole time. A few of them got some good jumps out of me. The quality of makeup, costumes, and acting is there, which makes it worth the price to me. Don't park at the pier, if you can help it, cuz that on top of tix was rough. In my opinion though, it's as good as, if not better than, Statesville, the only other great haunted house in the area...

They have stacks of $5 coupons for the haunted house at the pier when you get there. I had my 8 year old with me, and they were asking me if we wanted to go.

I didn't take him in.

Just wanted you to know about the coupon and the fact that they offered it to my 8 year old.

There was another thread about this just last month or so where Avengerfire supplied a very helpful link. I can't find it though.

I don't have kids and and I'm not going trick or treating. Something inexpensive for a group of young people to do. :-)
