There are about half a dozen parking garages within two blocks of that intersection. None of them cheap. If you the person you are visiting lives downtown they might be able to work something out with the management.

thank you. Person I am visiting is living in a place where there is absolutely no parking. Sounds like I will end up spending lot on parking. thanks for quick reponse.

It may seem like a hassle, but you can park at Midway. Google "midway park savers". I parked for $9 a day with coupon from website. There is security and it is right across street from Midway Orange line. It costs me $63 taxes included to park my car there a week instead of the $200 or so it would cost elsewhere. It took me 30 minutes or so on train each way, so I saved a lot for an hours effort for the week.

Look into it.

Yeah... I recommend you find a quiet, non-zoned residential side street to ditch it while you're here, preferably near a CTA train station. PM me for suggestions.
