You know these are interesting stories,

Tamar after God kills her first two wicked husbands waits for the 3rd son to pass on seed, Judah does not end up doing the wrong thing and sins and gives his 3rd son to someone else, Tamar dresses a ***** and when Judah's wife dies, gets pregnant by her father in law, one shot, and then he wants to kill her and finds he is the man that had her, you know,

Tamar was a woman of God in a tough place and God was with her. She is God's great grandmother.

Lot and his two virgin daughters are the only 3 that survive and God destroys Sodom and Gamorah and the surrounding cities, they lose there brothers and sisters, mother and all the people, in what left nothing, not even a nuclear explosion does that, and then they are met by Jesus and Lot asks to go into the city instead of the cave, they end up in the cave.

Now if you have a drunk girl and she doesn't know what is going on that is one thing, but his two daughters must of had to work him for them to have him two days in a row so drunk that he didn't know they had him. How does this work, 3 righteous people, your two virgin daughters have you and you don't know and get pregnant back to back and you got to think given they are God's children that with the fear they were in, God was doing it. They didn't think anyone was left but them.

I wonder, was it not this way? Clearly verna, these 3 and Tamar were righteous, for they were all spared and talked about as righteous in the NT.

Lot's daughters were the product of Sodom and Gommorah.

Tamar was getting revenge on Judah -and she did get it, too!
Do you think the Bible is about only holy, righteous sons of Adam? -if so, you are sadly misinformed. Only JEsus the Redeemer-Kinsman lived in holy righteousness, and we are to compare ourselves only to Him, the Word says, and not to others.

The examples given us of others' lives do not excuse sinners, but they sure show what a mess the world is in since the fall.

They were not a product of Sodom for that is why they were not killed there, oh funny people all of you are.

When they left Sodom they talked with someone and that Person told them to go to a cave, Lot argued and asked to go into the city, it was granted, then the 3 of them ended up in the cave. Read it a number of times and you will see that in the KJV it is God, the 2 angels and GodJesus met Abraham, then the two angels got the 4 out, one is now salt I think, and then they are told go to the cave to be safe, after they left Sodom. If you read and look at the words and the way they are used, you might see the 2 angels brought Lot to Jesus on the hill and then He told Lot go to the cave.

You know some people just don't get that Jacob wrestled with God or Jesus all night, till Jesus hit Jacobs thigh.

Some people might not see that Jesus was with Adam in the garden or was with Moses and ate with the elders before the 10 commandments were given. He did see Moses face to face. Isaac to I believe. Sampsons father and mother and Melchezedec is Jesus too. So He has made some apperances in the old testament, Daniel saw Him too and his 3 friends, and Ezekiel in a way. Pre-incarnate Christ, Moses saw the back parts of the Father, but they are all God and Jesus too, Isa9:6, read that enough times you get a One God, God is One.

Arena,
I enjoy your questions, because they expose the silliness of the theories of those who interpret the Bible literally. And all they can do is try to justify what they do not understand, and it is obvious to all that such justification is contradictory and useless.

I guess you might call it, "shining a Light in the darkness."

Peace,
brian

The daughters did not sin. There was no law of Moses telling them they could not do that.

I do share what God has given me with you all the time. You reject it. Instead you rub shoulders with those who are of a like mind, who state things that tickle your ears, in which you support highly! whether it be the truth of God or not.

...the blind leading the blind.
