Knoxville, TN. A Maryville woman who went to court on Aug. 14 for a child custody hearing says she was persecuted because of her religious beliefs at the hands of the Blount County judicial system.
Wow, John, I don't know how you find this stuff out, but keep up the good work. Iam all out of reps but am asking anyone who stops by to please give him a boost for all his hard work.
also, John, this story, in my opinion is not over, and if you get updates, would you mind to pass them along to us?
Someone was telling me about this yesterday but couldn't remember all the details...
That's not right at all. The Blount County judicial system should be investigated for that. From the article it is a child custody case. There is no reason it should have turned into a religious discussion and debate. The attorney representing her ex, and the judge should be removed. That goes completely against what America stands for...land of the free home of the brave. What does that mean anymore?
I'm sure the news story is only give part of the facts. Regardless, the judge appears to have across a number of lines here. I believe parents should be allowed to provide religious education to their kids, unless there is clear signs of abuse.
