No I'm not. It wasn't necessary to add the "ism" on there. Simple question is: Are you an "antinomian?" is the best way to express it. Propelyr and correctly being able to distinguish and apply God's Law and His Gospel is difficult even for very learned Christians. It can only be done through the power of the Holy Spirit. Martin Luther said that anyone who could do it properly should be given a Doctor of Theology degree.

Lots of those out there, whether they believe it or not.

I always love the people who say, "I'm saved" as if they've just gotten the Golden Ticket, á la Willy Wonka and then stroll blithely through the rest of their days assured of their destiny.

First of all . . . Yes he was. And second of all . . . if you have to ask why it matters . . . that is revealing far more about your heart than I suspect you would be comfortable with.

I continue to be amazed at how there are some who will deliberately ignore the direct teachings of Jesus.

"Whatever you do to Me, the least of My brethren, YOU DO TO ME" !!!!!! Why is this so difficult to understand?

Absolutely, good works are necessary. Who are these so called Christians who think that they know better than Jesus Himself?

You should know better than this. Do we really need to quote Luther for you?

Honestly I don't care if you think he was anti-semitic.

If he was....it does not in any way invalidate his theology. I'm sure you're smart enough to avoid the genetic fallacy, aren't you?
