The laying on of hands was anciently used in blessing, by those who blessed with authority. Thus the apostles blessed these new converts, ordained some to be ministers, and confirmed others in their Christianity. We cannot now, nor can any, thus give the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands but this may intimate to us that those whom we pray for we should use our endeavours with."

The gifting of the Holy Spirit by the laying on of hands was apostolical, not done to everyone, only those as directed so by the Holy Spirit, and reserved for those destined to be further used of God as officers, pastors, teaches, etc..
Thank you.

As you say, God is holy and God is spirit but the word of God as the son of man has said is spirit.
So it is the word of God that is the Holy Spirit that is why Jesus said to His disciples after breathing on them "receive the holy spirit."
The Spirit of God is his Word; a direct representation of the Father.

Vizio: You call God's spirit the holy spirit. Is the Holy spirit God's spirit, but called an own person in the trinity? Why does The holy spirit has it's own will from God if it's God's spirit? The holy spirit- He has a will (1 Cor 12:11)

Vizio: And what does it mean that The holy spirit is God's spirit?

It's not just God's spirit. He is a separate person. He is what a person is--someone that is able to think, has a will, can be offended, etc. It's not just God's personality, or God's spirit.

I'm not sure where you got that. I just preached through a section of Acts 16 (16:6-10) where the text calls him the "Holy Spirit", "Spirit of Jesus", and "God". They are all considered the same person. Paul seems to call him (The Spirit) God.

Yet...The Father is also called God, as is Jesus. They are all God, but they are all 3 separate persons.

Ritual was a very effective molder of human consciousness in shaping the progress of spiritual development. It still is. It is clear that most people do not recognize the cognitive differences that characterize the different epochs of human existence and the different presentations that were necessary (and appropriate) for those epochs. But misinterpreting attuning your consciousness to the Holy Spirit (Comforter) within as magic ritual . . . is a holdover of ancient ignorance that can have undesirable consequences for spiritual development and maturity today.

As to what His presence feels like... it feels like a member of the Godhead is with you at all times. It's a pretty wonderful feeling.
Yes it is . . . but it is NOT the privilege of a few clever souls (out of 7 billion) who happen to agree with some specific set of beliefs about Christ. Christ's accomplishment was for us all and His presence within our consciousness is a function of our receptivity and sensitivity, period. His Holy Spirit (Comforter) resides with all human consciousness, past, present and future. If we do not "feel" His presence . . . we are not in tune with His "love of God and each other." If we feel His presence and allow it to guide us to what God has "written in our hearts" . . . we will increase our capacity for love to eventually encompass all life.

A three-headed God, or one with three bodies?

There is scripture in the bible that also supports a separate Holy Spirit Baptism, such as the Apostles and the 128 other people in the upper room with them had on the day of Pentecost.

Different denominations will provide you different scripture to defend their position.

I suggest you look at all the scripture. I'll provide some for you as well.

God is the same today as he is yesterday . . . Research both sides. Many non-denominational churches, Pentecostal Churches and Assemblies of God believe in the Holy Spirit Baptistm, and have scriptures to support it.

Remember the fruits of the spirit are different than the gifts of the spirit as well.

In Acts 16, or 19…and in Acts 19 when you look at it the Bible says that Paul passed by a certain region and then he found disciples. The word there is disciples. These are believers in Christ. Christians. And he asked them the question, ‘Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?’ So they said, “We never heard of anything called the Holy Spirit.’ ‘So unto what baptism were you baptized?’ “John’s baptism.’ Well Jesus said what? You will be baptized by the Holy Spirit. And the Bible says that he prayed for them, laid hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit and the Bible says what was the evidence for those of you on the page? They spoke with tongues and prophesied, right? So we don’t want to compromise just because some denominations are of the persuasion that tongues has ceased alright, we don’t want to compromise because our standard is the Bible.

In Greek grammar a neuter can be referred to as masculine.

God's spirit [ Psalm 104 v 30 ] is neuter at KJV Numbers 11 vs 16,17,25 as neuter ' it '.

Even in English we sometimes call a neuter ' it ' as a she, such as in referencing a ship or boat as a she.
And David prayed, "Take not thy Holy Spirit from me"...He did not pray, " Take not Thyself from me"...
