The gospel message is in the message of the cross. To oppose it is the message that Satan wants his victims to vomit out every opportunity they can.
Wrong. There is no opposition to Christ crucified, twin. We also preach Christ was crucified and suffered at the hands of ignorant and savage men . . . BECAUSE of their sins (ignorance, "missing the mark"). Jesus confirmed it when He said "Father forgive them they know not what they do." That is ignorance and it is the source of their sin ("missing the mark"). We know Christ willingly endured the sins of our ancestors' savagery and barbarity on His body through scourging and crucifixion. We just do not believe our loving Father required it as payment for ANYTHING . . . let alone as a blood sacrifice to appease Him. Blood sacrifices are savage and barbaric acts motivated by our ancestors' primitive beliefs about a vengeful God. They belong to a primitive era that Christ came to correct.

And, he is still being crucified?
By some, daily, others weekly.

You have been sufficiently told by others that your view of our "ancestors" isn't correct.
There have always been those who understood God's nature, that he is slow to anger, abounding in love, merciful and gracious. People are no different today than they were 2,000 years ago. This talk about savage ancestors with no self control is completely made up and not scriptural.

I concur that what you say is simply not true, and also I think it's offensive to the Holy Spirit to insult and undermine the Word of God and twist Jesus' words around. In addition we are tired with the back handed disparaging remarks towards anyone today who hold to the truth with your savage, barbaric and primitive beliefs comments, for everybody knows that by association you're including anybody who hold to the same teachings that were believed previously .

Furthermore, to say that sin is ignorance, "missing the mark" shows just how far you're from what scriptures teach as the truth as to what sin is by trivializing it by simple "ignorance".
2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us,
so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Where your undermining the significance of what sin is will ultimately conclude is that God simply made Jesus "ignorant" if you care to be intelligently consistent of 2 Corinthians 5:21 ... and that is not what "sin" is, simple ignorance on our part.

Whoever the "we" is that "do not believe our loving Father required it as payment for ANYTHING " are in fact opposition to Christ crucified.
This was God's deliberate prophecy plan.
Acts 2:23
This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; (Isaiah 53:5)

Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed.

and this was Jesus' purpose for being born and death
Luke 9:22
And he [Jesus] said, The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.”
