The spirit of Ama said that that is her work, enticing men. She was a very beautiful woman. It was Mary Magdalene who poured the very costly spikenard at the feet of Jesus and wiped it with her hair (John 12:3).

Well whoever this Spirit of Ama is it is NOT compatible with the Holy Spirit of God as described and demonstrated by Jesus so it is a false Spirit, period.

Ama is the Holy Spirit that Jesus promised who He would send after He had departed. To His listeners, He is Jesus Himself. We (plural) cannot see or touch Him but can hear Him and record on audio tapes our conversations with Him which we call Sessions.
Even the famous American psychic, John Edward, has not talked to the spirit of a dead person, but he conveys messages of what those who had crossed over to their family, relatives and friends.
Mary M. came to believe in Jesus, change her life in the direction of his, and ultimately became a close friend of Jesus. That's all that matters in the kingdom of God. Just as we are not to dwell on or elevate our past, there's no reason to do so with her.
God/Jesus forgave her of all her sins, whatever they were (just as he does with us). God/Jesus looked at and valued her "new life" (just as he does with us). That's the point of dying to our past, and becoming "born again", as a new being.
It's so human to bother with one's past, and focus on that, wondering about this or that. That's what makes us so f-ed up, and God so refreshing and freeing.

The Comforter is the one who has come in Christ's name to guide us to the Truth God has "written in our hearts." We are to TEST the Spirits using Christ's descriptions of the Holy Spirit and the unambiguous demonstration of that Spirit by Jesus because there are many false ones. Your Ama fails the test in the detailed descriptions by Jesus so I declare it a false spirit.

Comforter (John 15:26) is also the Spirit of truth (John 15:26, 16:13). How does the spirit of Ama "fail" your tests, MysticPhD? Tell me so I will learn.
It does not make any difference if she was a lawyer or a prostitute.
I was thinking the same thing. What difference would it make had she been a prostitute or some other type of sinner. Also, do you think men who have relations with prostitutes are any better than women who may be forced into prostitution due to circumstances and layers of social injustice? I've always wondered why so many men think it's okay for them to sleep around, but then they insist on putting all the shame on women for sexual sin.

Two thieves were crucified on his left and right:
The mistakes of yesterday, and the fears of tomorrow.

Yes, the mistakes of yesterday, and the fears of tomorrow. Sorry for those whose hearts are away from God, who do not recognize Him. Who knows who will survive the great reduction of people on earth? Only a third of the present population will survive.
Did you know that Mary Magdalene lock herself up for three days and three nights in her house when she heard from Jesus of His pronouncement that He will remove from her the seven demons that plagued her? (from what I remember of what He told us)
