Then led and blessed them in killing their christian brothers. A work of Satan.

And this is just from one country during one brief span of history.
They had to pick a day to celebrate Jesus's birthday. BTW, celebrating Jesus's birthday is not biblical, but it is a thing 99% of Christians do.
BTW, the term Easter has pagan origins in the anglo-saxon world and relates to a Goddess. However, the real term is Pascha and this is not pagan.

You said 99% of Christians celebrate Jesus's birthday, I don't believe that. Many recognize that Christmas is not Jesus's birthday even though we take the day off and exchange gifts and gather with family. Now you are trying to change it to "celebrate Christmas" there is a big difference I would think.
By the way you did not answer my question of why did they have to pick a day to celebrate Jesus's birthday?

This is off topic and nitpicking. We don't know Christ's birthday so having a day agreed upon is helpful for those of us who want to celebrate.

And yet there has always been some Christians that escaped murder from Rome and kept the faith without having to bow to a man in Rome. That we can thank God for.

Yes. The weeds flourished in the Church and the wheat lay hidden among them. God does know what he is doing.

Do you have some historical evidence of their existence? A link to those writings would be great.
You see, people often make this claim...that the "true" church was in hiding while the Evil Catholic Church ruled the roost.
The problem with this theory is that there is no evidence.
Worse, if they did exist, those hidden Christians failed completely in terms of making disciples of all nations while the Catholics went out and did exactly that despite suffering heavy losses from the Romans who were more than happy to feed them to the lions in bunches.
So, show me some fruit of these cowardly believers...'cause it appears there ain't none.
