How can Jesus be God when he is worshiped another God?
As God, Jesus is co-equal and co-eternal with the other two Persons of the Trinity. But when Jesus became incarnate, He became the God-man. Fully God and fully man. As a man, God the Father is His God. But as God He is equal with God the Father.

Think of it this way. People today would say the resurrection from the dead is impossible. Yet Jesus rose and he raised 3 other people. But if the resurrection is impossible, then all religion is a waste of time because then there is no hope for people. So if people religion is a pointless waste of time, then why are they on a religion forum??? That really makes no sense.
The Bible says straight out that Jesus is God. John 1:1 says that Jesus is God. Phil. 2:5-6 says that Jesus is God. Hebrews 1:10-12 compared with Psalm 102:5-27 shows that Jesus is God.
The only question is whether or not you will believe the Bible. And clearly, many people do not!!!

Would it really make a difference in the message of Jesus? The idea that He had to be a "perfect sacrifice" does not ring true to me and that is the only reason I know of that people have to have Him as God.
He couldn't be God when sacrificed as God can't die and Jesus died. If he didn't die no sacrifice was made as just a dead body was not what was required or given.
I'm not very religious, however I went to catholic school for 12 years and studied theology and religion.
The best way I ever heard the Holy Trinity described is like water. Water can be liquid, gas, or solid. Yet water is still h2o. Same composition, just different forms. Even as a skeptic I had to accept that as the best answer I'd ever got.
Yes, but the Gas was not the water and the ice was not the gas. Nor was their composition exactly the same, etc. Sounds OK until one actually looks at it, then ....................

Both of those are possible. I already contemplate both. I don't contemplate the impossible though. Perhaps many need to learn the difference between the possible and the impossible.
