Repentance---It's more than a word, it's an action. You can't just say I repent and then continue in the same vein that you've been running in or your words are dead. You can recant with words but without action are useless.

Sin/Mistakes--more than words, they are actions taken against others with intent to do harm. Stop making the same mistakes. If what someone is doing does no harm against you or innocent bystanders then MYOB and let them and God sort it out. You can't correct a mistake by making a mistake.

Jesus came forth to create a division and a house divided shall not stand. The only way to stand within this created division is on the side of love, truth and wisdom--these are the spirits of God. The other side shall fall and fail.

We are put forth to do only these things----Teach love, truth and wisdom, clothe, house, feed, heal and protect those in need. Offer and help others to overcome and correct their mistakes only if they are willing to admit they have made a mistake--otherwise shake the dirt off and move on. Finger pointing and name calling doesn't walk in the ways of Christ--neither does telling others that they are going to hell--they are already existing in that state and their lives will only get worse for them.

Christians should never allow themselves to be goaded into an action against anyone or anything by the mere usage of words that have come against them. Self-control first, we have the option to walk away from words. It is written that words have power--don't give power unto evil. Harness words and actions.

I've seen too many in pulpits pointing and yelling.

Yes it is hard to listen to Christian haters at the pulpit like Joyce Meyer and a few others rant on , but weak on helping Christian find the redemption from Christ, but instead point fingers and thump the bible ............See Jesus does help believer resist the sin , as He can rip the spirit of this world out of believers when they believe in the authority of the believers , and pray in those Words from God

Jesus clearly demanded Apostles must teach his Words, baptize and preach. Good pastors follow his commandment and say the Truth apart from whether sinners do it like or not.A good and true Church is a fighting church which fights against Satan and sin. A fluffy-bunnie hippie-dippie politically correct 'church' is a servant of Satan and Hell, no one can be saved there.

IMHO, it is the sacred duty of every religious leader, from your local pastor to the heads of the highest organizations, to guide us as to what we must do to lead the Christian life that Jesus taught. Faith and morals is their highest priority.

In turn, it is our responsibility to make every effort to improve our lives, morally speaking. It is a lifelong journey, with many detours and side trips and vista points. But in the end, we will be judged on our efforts and our success at attaining that elusive but so desirable Christian life.

I like if a preacher does a hellfire and brimstone sermon IF it is a good one,, i mean one that really gets your attention and is just right for what you need to hear,, the one where you say "yeah, that is right on!". actually someone doesn't have to holler and scream, but the words pierce thru the b.s. in our lives.

You can tell when a sermon is a good one, because it makes you think.. whether loud or soft, its the words that count.

I dont think screaming makes a sermon better, its the words that do it.

Don't worry about the lively rabbit; it's the dead church that has no life.

Lucky you! You get the free education for today. Ready? A true hippie would never - ever - diss you. Nor would they use your beliefs as an example of something evil. A true hippie is closer to Jesus than those who have the AUDACITY to tell other people their church is evil.

SMH.

A true hippie is for me a worshiper of Satan and Evil, somebody who practice drug and alcohol consume, perverse sex of any kind, a guy who ditched the Holy Bible and enjoy Rock, Wicca, Pagan rituals etc. A hippie was never close to Jesus, rather to Devil.

We - church going Bible believing saved Christians will resurrect the Church of Jesus, it will be alive again. Indeed there are many dead churches, but it was predicted in the Holy Bible, it is the Way which God gave to save us from our sins.
