Luke 13

22 And He was passing through from one city and village to another, teaching, and proceeding on His way to Jerusalem. 23 And someone said to Him, “Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?” And He said to them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ 26 Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’; 27 and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; depart from Me, all you evildoers.’
I knew that the first response would be someone quoting John 3:16. These 2 scriptures that do not say what you think they are saying have blinded many christians and made the arm of the Lord short to save and denied the ability of the great persuader to show mankind its need to be reconciled back to himself.

So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy and now before you start defending the right of your god to show mercy to whoever he wishes to.......... Put this in your pipe and smoke it....... For God hath shut up all unto disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all

Matthew 18:3 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Lots of ways and... getting rid of those who wish to do bad makes life a lot better for those who wish to live in peace under God's rule.

Share a few.

Thankfully the governments of the world generally don't follow the rule of getting rid of folk just because they have gone astray.

So you think babies believe in Christ?
Or do you think they are saved after death?

May be your belief - not mine. I see children as exempt until God deems them to possess the age, maturity, and mental capacity to be held responsible. That's God's call - not mine.

What about it?
  • "God is no respecter of persons" Acts 10:34
  • "people are without excuse" ......Romans 1:20
  • "without faith it is impossible to please God" ..... Hebrews 11:6
"I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just" .... Jesus

Universalism is the backhanded accusation that people who go to hell if so is because of an unjust judgment by God
