The bible from God because the bible says that it's from God. That's circular reasoning.
So E=Mc2 because Einstein said it is and so since he said it is that is circular reasoning.
But the Bible is from God. We know this because the Bible tells us it is from God. Whether you call it circular reasoning or not, it is a fact which cannot be denied.
I hope this doesnt turn into the typical 10-20 pages of going back and forth about homosexuality thread.
1 page can prove its a sin with basic scriptures that specifically address that issue, but 10+ pages is when you try to justify it as not being a sin, because you have to come up with every back door excuse to ignore what the bible says.
Try telling that to all of the non-biblical Christians on this forum. "Them's fightin' words."
Today, there are no non-biblical Christians in my opinion.
(UPDATE: There may be cases where people have fallen away from Christ and now reject the Bible - God will still remain faithful to them in the end)
A Christian is one who believes in the fact that God sent Jesus to the earth to die for our sins and be physically raised from the dead. If you don't believe in the book where this is detailed, it is highly unlikely that you will believe in One being physically raised from the dead.
About everyone in the forum here who has trouble with the Bible has stated (upon my inquiry) that they have troubles with Christ's physical resurrection.
You are quite mistaken my friend. Jesus Christ is the truth and it is very simple to know Him. God has revealed Himself to us through His Son and through His word. You are entitled to your opinion but to make a flat statement that people cannot know the truth is presumptuous and incorrect.
Do you realize that the Muslims that killed French citizens believe they have the true religion? They are no different than the Jewish barbarians that killed children in the OT.
