The issue is, it's not "the truth". Blind faith is not TRUTH. I can say the world is going to end in 4 months and that's the "truth", but it's only "truth" in my own mind.
We don't live in a theocracy, so you can't force your religions views on others. There is no freedom in forced religion.
The Catholic church 100 years from now will not be performing gay marriage, will not be condoning abortion , and will certainly have 100,000 times the membership of the KKK.
your wish/desire will not come true.
Likely the first one will be false. At some point the Catholic Church will likely back down on it's opposition to gay marriage. The other points are pretty much true though.

You missed the point. The truth in this case is the pizzeria owner saying whatever she believed. Anything else would have been a lie. When you say your opinion is something other than it actually is, you are lying. Do you understand?
Her accusers knew what her answer was going to be, and they were not going to tolerate her view so they attacked her.
The only other option would have been to appease the accusers and tell a lie. Peter did it, he said he did not know Jesus, when he did. He did it out of fear. The pizzeria owner was fearless and spoke openly about her view knowing she was going to get hit.

Never !
The day the Catholic church performs gay marriage is the day they should lock the doors and cease.

If, indeed, the establishment does not deliver or cater - that would have been the truth.
I actually agree with Finn Jarber in his gripe that the owners have the right to speak what they believe(they are being truthful, but most definitely not speaking truth)according to the letter, but 100% strongly disagree with the spirit of it. There is nothing of God about it whatsoever, nothing wholesome or gracious, and most certainly nothing that can be seen to be honoring God, just a standing up for your conviction about something you do not approve of.
If, indeed, the establishment does not deliver or cater - that would have been the truth.
No, saying the truth is the enough.
And just because you do not agree with her views does not mean she is evil, or bigoted, it just means that's how she sees it.
