Not sure what "political terms" you are talking about, but what is under discussion is a law, another law that has the effect of circumventing that law and the various reactions to both laws.....all political.

The whole thing boils down to the simple fact that our society, for very good reason, has decided that it is not appropriate (to put it mildly) to discriminate against anyoine because of their sexuality. A law was passed that would have the effect of negating that basic perception under some circumstances (a law the lawmakers are backing off of posthaste btw). A Pizza shop owner was asked if she would break the original law, trusting on the second law to protect her, and she said she would. Some misguided activists took umbrage at her response and, depending on proof of their culpability, they are being punished for it.

This is what is being discussed. The second law clearly will not stand up under the circumstances stated and the shop owner would be in a position of doing what might be requested, or breaking the law and suffering the consequences. It is as simple as that.

Some people dispute the reasons for the law against discrimination. Fighting against removal of discrimination against classes of people is known as bigotry.

I say attitude of heart because there is nothing wrong with not approving of something,it is your attitude of heart that is in question, and it most certainly is not one of honoring God.

That post is barely worth acknowledging because the author came out and said, hey I'm posing a trap catch 22 situation for ya! haha So it doesn't matter what answer we give, it would be spin into more "you're a bigot" white noise.

Jesus gave us the example of being kind to all people and not rejecting them. But He did not say to take it to such extreme that we openly embrace and ENCOURAGE their sinful lifestyle. Did He do that with the prostitutes? No way, He said go and sin no more.

If you are a gay neighbor or friend in need, yes I would help you.

If you are a gay customer in my store, yes I would serve you with a friendly smile and hopefully make you feel good about the transaction.

If you are a gay customer in my store and you demand that I provide services that directly support or celebrate your sinful lifestyle like a gay wedding, NO I will not serve you.

Colour me disappointed. I don't think very highly of your character but I thought you, and maybe Vizio, had enough guts to take a crack at the questions.

So you don't want to deal with the responses.

Got it.

Birds of the same feather as the saying goes.
Jesus had a heart that also didn't bother to answer their trap gotcha questions either.

I did answer the questions or scenarios. Just not in the framework that you wanted which was a trap setup where any possible answer would put us in a negative light.

If Jesus was a cake maker, being the wonderful man and the exact representation of God, he would have honored God and made them a lovely cake and made it in love too.

Crowds were in the streets that day
When Jesus came to town
All the synagogue was there
And more from miles around

So I asked Him home to dinner
So I could see what I could see
Of this famous local Prophet
From here in Galilee

And I don't know just how that woman
Got into the room
But you couldn't miss her gaudy clothes
And her strong and sweet perfume

She went straight to Jesus' feet
And stopped and stood right there
And then cried and wet His feet with tears
And dried them with her hair

Now of all the women in my town
None was more well known
For the flagrant scent she'd left them
And the wickedness she'd sown

But He didn't move to stop her
It seemed this Prophet couldn't tell
That the woman who was touching Him
Was the kind they buy and sell

And I had no idea just what this Jesus planned to do
When He said Simon, there's somethin' I need to say to you
So I said, Teacher, if it's on Your mind then tell me what you will
But as He began to speak to me, the room grew quickly still

He said, take a good look at this woman now
In spite of all her fears,
She's kissed me, and anointed me
And washed my feet with tears

She's honored me
And you've been only rude to me instead
You gave no kiss of greeting
And no anointing for my head

And her sins were red as scarlet
But now they're washed away
The love and faith she'd shown
Is the price she has to pay

For the depth of God's forgiveness
It's more than you can see
And in spite of what you think of her
She's beautiful to me

Well my anger flamed to hatred
I wanted nothing more
Than to take this Prophet by the throat
And throw Him out the door

To act like God, forgiving sins
And then speak so to me
As itinerant from Nazareth
And backwards Galilee

But instead I sat and trembled
Shaken to the core,
The woman still was weeping
As she knelt there on the floor

Jesus turned to her
Said your chains have been released
Your faith has saved you from your sins
Rise and walk in peace

Your sins were red as scarlet
But now they're washed away
The love and faith you've shown
Is all the price you have to pay

For the depth of God's forgiveness
It's deeper than the sea
And no matter what the world may think
You're beautiful to me

Your sins were red as scarlet
But now they're washed away
The love and faith you've shown
Is all the price you have to pay

For the depth of God's forgiveness
It's deeper than the sea
And no matter what the world may think
You're beautiful to me

Your sins were red as scarlet
But now they're washed away
The love and faith you've shown
Is all the price you have to pay

For the depth of God's forgiveness
It's deeper than the sea
And no matter what the world may think
You're beautiful to me

She's Beautiful to me. Don Francisco

This same spirit that Jesus had to deal with is still alive and well today

Jesus would have honored God by honoring and celebrating sin? Did He have sex with the prostitutes too? After all, they needed money.

Wow, what a twisted version of the gospel.
