Jeremiah and Ezekiel both speak of the greater Exodus to come and you will never heard any endtime preacher speak about this, just Jesus can come at any moment and the Rapture could occur after this very prayer.
Jeremiah 16:14-15 (NKJV) God Will Restore Israel
14 “Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “that it shall no more be said, ‘The Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ 15 but, ‘The Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers.
Ezekiel 20:32-38 (NKJV)
32 What you have in your mind shall never be, when you say, ‘We will be like the Gentiles, like the families in other countries, serving wood and stone.’ God Will Restore Israel
33 “As I live,” says the Lord God, “surely with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, I will rule over you. 34 I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out. 35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will plead My case with you face to face. 36 Just as I pleaded My case with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will plead My case with you,” says the Lord God.
37 “I will make you pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant; 38 I will purge the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against Me; I will bring them out of the country where they dwell, but they shall not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
Doesnt the Greater Exodus have to occur before any Pre-Trib or Post -Tri Rapture?

You don't believe that was the return from Babylon?

Ive been hearing this brought up alot lately and many say this is a future prophecy. Some extremists even go as far as thinking of some great event like the ocean opening up like the Red Sea did in order to get back to the land.

I see this as the Jews returning from Exile. That would seem to be a simple contemporary reading of it that Jeremiah and Ezekiel might have been referring to.
What would this Great Exodus, or the sea opening up accomplish?

I have thought of that too, but i think the extremist see it just like the Red sea opened up for them to get to the land, the ocean would open up for people in the US to get to the land. I wonder if they even think that the ocean can be 10,000+ feet deep and its probably mountains formed under the sea and how long it would take to make a 4500 mile journey by foot and they will probably die making this journey.

I know that there are some prophecies that were both "near and far" in their application -- meaning that they applied to an event at the time, and then further down the line -- maybe a Messianic prophecy, as well. But I really lean toward these passages you quoted as having been fulfilled by the return of Israel from exile.
