Why is there a hell, Cyber?? What does it accomplish that is good, just and loving??? Have you thought that through at all??? I know you have been taught it and that you have also been taught not to question it. , But using your best effort, try to explain why it should even exist if God IS agape love as descriibed in 1 Cor 13, etc. ???
Just wanted to let you know that I'm not ignoring your post. I just can not reply to your request at this moment.
As you well know I'm pretty long winded in my post and the timing (husband, dinner) I don't have that extra minute right now.
I don't want to just post anything just to satisfy your request and I definitely do want to pray about this that I post what the Lord God would have me to do .... so I will get back to you when the time is right.
Amen, good for you !
Jesus warned us about casting our pearls before the swine. They do just as the scripture tell us, they turn and try to tear us to pieces, amen !! Just what is being done.
And they are persistently trying to get you to do just that for that sole purpose.
Don't give in. Just stay away from them, as God said in Proverbs 14:7
"Stay away from a fool, for you will not find knowledge on their lips."
And they are persistently trying to get you to do just that for that sole purpose.

Who needs your pearls when we have found the one of great price....... Christ in you, you know the Christ you believes is bound by the letter, and who you refuse through unbelief to at the very least be open to the idea that is where Christ is found. Blind leading the blind sharing with one another your fake pearls, the same pearls anyone with the mind of Christ recognizes are fake, along with the fake grace that allows for sin to abound over grace. Even the unbeliever recognizes that your pearls are knock offs.

Reason: Crediting the unbeliever

Is that why you think I am a fool? Because of a verse in the Bible?
If it weren't for that verse, would you still think I was a fool?

I'm going to ask you again: why do you think I am a fool?
As several others have pointed out, Jesus didn't think too highly of those who called others fools. He said that they would be in danger of hell, according to the Bible (Matthew 5:22).
Do you not accept Matthew 5:22 as the Word of God?

Other than re-affirming the hypocrisy of certain people who take out of context Biblical proper usage of Matthew 5:22, why keep asking if your bravado of being raised \ going through Catechism class has any merit to it?
You know that part of the answer is your wantonly misdirected attention to whose opinion matters.

Feel free to be skeptical of my LCMS upbringing, including K-8 schooling. And I'll go ahead and forget the whole Matthew 5:22 thing, since it's a bit of a red herring at this point.
Again, my main question for you is this: why do you think I'm a fool?
Is it because of Psalm 14:1?
