That's very Catholic of you. Learn to pray to the saints for intercessions. Ask for the saints to intercede for you, on the chance that God's first inclination WAS WRONG.

Are you seriously saying you believe that miracles come from the bones of dead men?

They are closer to God than we are. Nothing wrong in praying/talking to them as well, like family.

From the men themselves praying for us.

Yeah, except that you wouldn't expect the living to hear you through some kind of mental telepathy, would you? You can talk to them all you want, but what in the world would make you think they can hear you?

So how does that make their bones sacred? They're just bones. They're the dust of the earth, just like anybody else's bones.

They are spirits. We won't know how they hear us until we join them there.

You won't know if they heard you until you join them, and there is no biblical rationale for assuming that they do. Meanwhile, why not just pray exclusively to God?

Does it seem likely to you that an omnipotent omniscient Being is subject to having his mind changed? Was his first intention wrong? That's a little unsettling in an omniscient Being. And if I was a saint, I would have a very LOW impression of anyone who thought I was the guy who should suggest to God that perhaps He got it wrong the first time and needed to reconsider.

I guess you never ask your friends or relatives to pray for you.

There are proven miracles from praying to saints. A person cannot become a saint unless they have 2 miracles to prove praying to them helped. People cured after praying to a saint that doctors cannot explain how the cure happened.
