This thing is in my head all the time. I can't get over the idea that when Noah sent that dove out and it came back with a leaf in it's mouth, that it had just visited Jesus when it came down on him, and then went it's way to bring proof to Noah.

Anyone have any thoughts on this already?

When I think of this, I think of Abraham about to sacrifice his son and suddenly, he is in the future.

Abraham had confidence in the coming future resurrection - Hebrews 11:17-19 - when under Christ's millennium-long day of governing over earth there will be a resurrection. That is why Acts 24:15 uses the ' future tense ' that there ' is going to be ' a resurrection....... Abraham could see himself healthy alive on Earth under Christ's millennial rule over Earth.

None of the faithful mentioned at Hebrews chapter 11 saw the fulfillment of God's promise - Hebrews 11:13,39
The promise which God made to father Abraham that ALL families of Earth will be blessed - Genesis 12:3
and ALL nations of Earth will be blessed - Genesis 22:18. Blessed with healing for Earth's nations - Rev. 22:2
That healing for Earth's nations takes place during Jesus' coming 1,000-year governmental rulership over Earth when even 'enemy death ' will be No more on Earth - 1st Corinthians 15:26; Isaiah 25:8

The peaceful dove coming back with an olive leaf in its mouth showed Noah that the Flood waters had now resided enough so that he could now exist the Ark onto dry land.
The dove had just visited a blooming olive tree.

God's spirit, in the form of a peaceful dove, came down upon Jesus at his baptism.
