It is interesting to note here how many statements are made to affirm and justify sin and wickedness and that a holy God is somehow required to approve of it or deny that it happens at all. Further that those who worship God are supposed to approve of sin and embrace those that do it else they are condemned by those who wallow in it. Approval of sin is a measure of corruption, not justification.

Jesus died to fulfill the law, not to abolish it.
If Christ abolished the law, history would have recorded Him as the most lawless and hated man. Instead He fulfilled the law and became known as the most righteous man. Nothing about the crucifixion abolishes the law. Sin is still sin and judgment remains upon those who do not repent and make peace with God.

NO ONE HAS A LICENSE TO SIN, EVER.

The measure of the corruption of America stands revealed in its self-justification debauchery and licentiousness. There is NO excuse and NO allowance for sin in the Bible whatsoever! The very Holiness of God is here denied and rebuked by those who justify their own dark thoughts and deeds. Holiness and judgment is denied in principle and in fact. Do you not know, O reader that the righteous God MUST judge sin?

The Bible says that God hates sin so much that He promises to visit judgment upon the third and forth generation of those who hate him. Does this mean that judgment will come down upon America and last a very long time? If scripture is to be appreciated at all, this seems to be a very real possibility. Not just once, but for a very long time.

BUT......

the Bible says God has provided a way of escape - via repentance. This means a sincere and total turning away from sin and rebellion. Unless repentance is real, God wil not hear a single prayer uttered by the sinner and he will die in his sins. Unless a nation repents of its wickedness, God will execute violent judgment upon it. No nation in history has escaped judgment in this way. America, despite its conceited attitude of exceptionalism, is NO exception. Nations have been judged before in modern times and it WILL happen again.

The only question is when and what form it will take.

"Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather."
- Jesus as quoted by Matthew 24:28

Hatred of God will not excuse anyone from judgment. The nation that denies Him will suffer terribly because of it.

God has already turned away from blessing America. Because America has denied God and His righteousness, the vultures and demons of violence and injustice and murder are already descending upon us. They are teeming against us to tear apart the corpse of a once great nation that is great no more. Neither Donald Trump nor Hillary Clinton can save us now.

Do not look for blessings from God any more. Judgment is upon us. Only those who repent and make peace with God will have hope.

and that's me, hollering from the choir loft...

What is written here and elsewhere is not an affirmation of saving repentance, but willful hateful rejection of everything revealed about the Holy God Almighty. A total and complete attitude that disbelieves in every form however presented that God could or would judge a wicked man or nation will not save anybody or any nation. Nations have been judged before in modern times and it WILL happen again. The only question is when and what form it will take.

No evangelical was ever given a license judge sin and the sinner the way they do either In fact Jesus defended the sinner( who lived like they had a license to err) from the arrows of those who thought they were commissioned to judge the sinner.

Your view from the choir loft has been obstructed by your whip lashing and venomous biting.

Unfortunately, god already had this done before, by drowning all but few of his creations. Could have sent a savior then, aye, mate?
So it's nothing really new to kill another generation.

God made this country THE #1 country in the world today from WWII on to 2016. Then again, He promised Jacob in Genesis 49 that the Tribes of Joseph would be tremendously powerful and wealthy - and He has kept that promise.

You should read revelation, it teaches the exact opposite of your belief. Rev 16--Every kingdom on earth( govt, armies, supporters) will be mislead to stand in opposition of Gods king. The result--Daniel 2:44
How can any country that keeps passing laws in opposition to Gods laws think God is with them--the opposite is reality.
Jesus taught--satan is the ruler of this world(system of things)
Its a very wise thing to learn all that Jesus taught and apply all of it--then one can clearly see.

Choir Loft, they don't want to hear that, just as it is written of them. Where's Rob Bell to tickle their ears?

The form it will take is eyes like burning coals and it takes place in no other place but within each of us.

No one hates God, yes I know the scripture you are going to quote. Whenever someone considers the lilies of the field, what is there to hate ? It's not God they are hating but the weeds that fundamentalists call God.

I have no respect for MLK. Not only that, but he's a liar. The Chinese and Russian govts. killed many millions of their own people. Its not even close. Add to that the killing the Russians and Chinese were doing in the invasions of South Korea and South Vietnam, and MLK's statement clearly is completely absurd.

False teachers that do not know Jesus teach what you think--Paul taught at Hebrews 10:26-- There is no sacrafice left for any who practice a sin. Jesus taught--Matt 7:21-23-- a worker of iniquity = a practicer of sin. 1John 3-- Its impossible for a child of God to practice even one sin.
If ones teacher is telling them Jesus death covers all their sin--ask them why--all who had life but are now dead--paid their own wages of sin themselves= death, even the apostles all died.
Jesus said--John the baptizer was the greatest man who ever lived--Yet he died and paid his own wages of sin.
Jesus' sacrifice did cover those who live until the tribulation and Har-mageddon. These will never taste death( the righteous)--the remaining little flock( Luke 12:32)= 144,000( Rev 14:3) gets changed in the twinkling of an eye and brought to heaven during the trib, The righteous-Matt 24:22--Proverbs 2:21-22( great multitude) will be brought through Har-mageddon into Gods kingdom.

You can't have God without Jesus; and, you can't have Jesus without truth; and, you can't have truth without humility. So, most of mankind cannot be Jesus' disciple.
