We have repeatedly described the fruits of the Spirit by which we know that something is of the Spirit or is NOT. YOU have NOT done so but you repeatedly claim you can tell what is of the Spirit and what is NOT. How can you possibly do so when you can NOT even describe the fruits of the Spirit and the characteristics that generate them????? YOU are the one who can NOT do anything but mouth words about the Spirit without even being able to describe the Spirit you claim to have and follow. I would be rather worried about what Spirit you are actually following, Rbbi.

And you know nothing of the gifts of the Spirit because you don't have the Spirit, protests to the contrary aside. ANYONE, and I do mean anyone, including even Hitler, can mouth the words, but without the gifts of the Spirit in operation, there is NO PROOF, because that's what the PROOF IS, ie. that He rose from the dead = in this case the dead being, YOU. YOU are the grave He's buried in if you have had the initial infilling. Which, once again, is why no one WITH the Spirit wants to listen to your New Age based doctrines and false litmus tests. Peace

Most of the Founding Fathers of this country were preterists. They believed in God, but they didn't allow themselves to get caught up in all the Protestantism baloney. That's why we're free to worship whoever wem want today. If the Christians had run the government they'd have outlawed everything except Christianity and they'd still be burning homosexuals at the stake.
Preterists say there IS a God but that He does not involve Himself in day-to-day operations here on earth. Ever wonder why you pray and pray and nothing happens? Ever wonder why little Christian girls get brutally raped and murdered? Ever ask, "How could God possibly allow my little girl to experience something as horrific as that? There can't be a god." Would God inflict something as horrific as the rape and murder of your little innocent? If He stays out of men's affairs, then yes, He would allow it. He allows millions of people to get wiped out in a single earthquake/tsunami because He allows natural laws to take precedent over anything He is able to do.
That's why preterism makes the most sense, not atheism, not theism, and most certainly NOT fundamentalist Christianity.
