When Jesus stipulated when God and Himself would love someone or gave instructions for becoming a child of God He was in so many words saying that not everyone is a child of God or loved by God.

The reason for this thread is to counter those who claim to follow Jesus but disregard His word.

Verses of reference;

"While you have the light believe in the light and you will become a child of light." John 12:36

"He who keeps the commandments he has from me is the man who loves and the man who loves me will be loved by my Father, I too shall love him and reveal myself to him." John 14:21

According to these verses does Jesus love everyone?

Who cares what the verses say - except literalist fools?

Those who believe they follow Jesus' spirit believe they follow a spirit of love, acceptance and compassion.

I have no problem with them. Nor does the rest of the planet, except those of you who worship a book instead.

Try as you might, you do not get to decide if God loves someone. You seek to involve yourself in matters that do not concern you.

The Book of Excuses certainly makes men busybodies.

Jesus spirit? The words are the spirit. " The words I spoke to you are spirit......and life."

You would have no record of Jesus except by the words in the Bible.

Ya, the rest of the planet, what a mess.

"If you continue in my word you are truly my discple"

Wake up.

Those are not my words. They are Gods word. He has decided.

Default Not everyone is a child of God or loved by God,( Jesus)

Utter nonsense that denies everything Christ has revealed and taught us about the TRUE NATURE of God. Only the ridiculous barbaric beliefs about God from the OT support such a preposterous claim.

Still God loves all these sinners , and He calls Himself to love them until they pass from this world, , as He has called all sinners to the promise of life ,.............. and then Jesus said from Matthew 5:44-45...``Love your enemies bless them that curse you , do good to them that hate you , and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you...That you may be the children of the Father which is in heaven , for He make the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust ........ Be you perfect , even as your Father which is in heaven perfect ``.....................

Written by men, for men. Those words apply to you. If God does not love you then make a change.

Does God love everyone? Yes. Does God love Christians more than He loves non-Christians? No. Does God love Christians to a different extent than He loves non-Christians? Yes. God loves everyone equally in that He is merciful to all. God has a unique relationship with Christians in that only Christians have His eternal grace and mercy and the promise of His forever love in heaven. The unconditional love God has for everyone should bring us to faith in Him, receiving in thankfulness the great conditional love He grants all those who receive Jesus Christ as Savior.

Does God love everyone or just Christians?
