If I were blessed enough to be there in that era, I would have tried to love them into understanding Christ's actual Gospel. I would probably have been less successful than I have been on this forum with significantly direr consequences.

It's ok. You don't have to go there :-) Even statistically, there were few that qualified in that day. After Christ returned as the Holy Spirit and was shed abroad it was a different story however. A little bit of Empowerment in the inner man and they queue up to crucify the Truth.

Voicing concerns about Rbbi's opinion is the equivalent of wanting someone crucified?

No. Ganging together is the same spirit though.

Really? So, when you guys all gang up and say that anyone that doesn't agree with you that the bible is the inerrant Word of God, is mired in sin or rebellious or God's enemy or whatever other accusation you want to slap on them, does that mean you're wanting to see a crucifixion? Or is it only the people who disagree with someone that YOU agree with that you make such an over the top remark about?

And you would have been going against the will of the Father. Or did you forget that Yeshua said that if He wanted to He could have called for a legion of angels, or that He told Pilate you have no power except what has been given you from above? Sooner or later those pesky scriptures come back to bite you and your opinions when they don't line up with the Word.

And let's not forget about Peter who Yeshua rebuked Satan over, because Peter said be it far from you Lord, regarding the manner in which He should die. Odd that some people share the opinion of Satan on here. Peace

Pack behaviour knows no bounds.

Okay, so you are saying that you DO desire the crucifixion of others who disagree with you? That is sad.

I'm sorry that you feel that way, and if you have that "pack" mentality and assume others do too, I can understand why you take such offense at being disagreed with. But not all of us are like that. Two or more people questioning the veracity of something someone says does not equate to them wanting to see someone "crucified", or to animal behavior.
