Who is the enemy?
The accursers would have you think you are the worm(serpent)
Pay no head.
JESUS/Y,SHUA.

And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Law, law, law, law, law, obey, obey, obey, obey, obey . . . what a sick way to see God and our purpose. We are NOT pets in obedience training under the control of a Master. We are children maturing into spiritual adulthood under the guidance of a loving Father. Get a clue.

She missed the parts in the NT that said the parts of the OT she quoted are no longer applicable. Having been delivered from the Law, to deliberately place ourselves once again under its control is said to be "falling from grace."
(see Rom. 6:14; 7:1-14; Gal. 3:10-13, 24-25; 4:21; 5:1, 13; 2 Cor. 3:7-18)

Interesting quote. At the same time God apparently saw nothing at all wrong with a daughter-in-law posing as a prostitute in order to seduce the father-in-law of her dead husband.

Read the story of Judah and Tamar (Genesis 38). God not only thought it not a problem---He blessed their union by tracing Jesus' lineage through their "sin."

Note that the story of Judah and Tamar is nestled within the story of Joseph taken in captivity to Egypt. Joseph is subject to being seduced by his master's wife, but he does not give in and treats her with great respect. Judah, on the other hand, treats Tamar as an object of momentary sexual gratification. In the story of Joseph a bloody coat is used to proclaim his death (falsely). In Tamar's case, she covers her face with a veil (not common among prostitutes in ancient times) so her father-in-law will not recognize her.

By contrasting Joseph’s actions and attitudes with those of Judah, Joseph shines all the brighter. Yet the interesting thing is that God blesses both men. Jesus did not come from the loins of Joseph, but from his rascal "carnal" brother, Judah.

You can run from it all your want, but the death in your body and mind betray your belief. Peace

So I take it the one where He said if they (meaning all of us, as we are told everything they went through was for our INSTRUCTION) obey His statutes and His commandments He would put none of the curses of the Egyptians on them, but if they DIDN'T......hmm.....let's see. The death of the firstborn. Firstborn of the FLESH, then of the Spirit. How's your flesh doing Warden? Got any curses hanging on it gaining strength from your refusal to die to sin by obedience to the law?

Prosper and be in HEALTH, even as your SOUL prospers. Your flesh is under the law, just as your soul is to be under the Spirit, and it betrays the words of your mouth, because your "earth" does not line up with your "heaven". Or did you forget how to pray and get prayers answered? Thy kingdom come, Thy WILL BE DONE, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. Peace

You're overlooking the fact that Tamar got him to perform the LAW, which is why G-d didn't have a problem with it. Just like He didn't have a problem with a son obtaining the blessing through deception, because his mother was actually righteous in that she remembered G-d's promise (His word also being LAW), and the son was righteous in that he went against his father's fleshly desires to bring about G-d's promise. The lesson in both is that the Son will take on the image of sinful flesh and the shame of the cross it brings to bring about the birth of the true Son of G-d within, who ALWAYS does His Father's will. Peace

I appologize for the sentence structure.
It is more of a shorthand style.
