The prophet Ezekiel was given an important revelation from God: [willful] sinners will die.

Ezekiel 18
[20] The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
[21] But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
[22] All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
[23] Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
[24] But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

Still hanging out in the Old Testament, searching for special verses of condemnation to spread your bad news of condemnation to all us sinners? .... why am I not surprised? Guess what. You are also a sinner, even still. What will you do to get out of that situation?

You don't believe the Word of God either? It's a pretty common theme nowadays.

You say I am a sinner, but the Lord calls me his Saint -- and that's what counts. Moreover, His Word is clear: "The soul that sins shall die". Believe or not.

Well, that's true . . . sort of. BUT!!!. . . but, but, but, but, but . . . the specific context of Ezekiel 18 is not referring to eternal punishment, but to punishment in this life. Who will not live, but is to be put to death? Under the Mosaic Law (which we are not under), one example (given in Ezekiel 18:13) was a Hebrew who lent money (to a fellow countryman) and expected interest on the money. It was alright to charge interest when lending money, food, etc. to a foreigner, but not to another Israelite (Exodus 22:25–27, Leviticus 25:36–37 and Deuteronomy 23:20–21). On the other hand, a man who turned from all his sins would not be put to death, but would live. Was an Israelite who lent money to a fellow Israelite and demanded repayment with interest eternally condemned? Of course not. But under the Mosaic law, according to Ezekiel 18:13 he was to be put to death.

Commenting on Ezekiel 18:24, Dr. Charles H. Dyer, comments in part;
18:24 . . . God was not saying that a saved Israelite would lose his salvation if he fell into sin. Both the blessing and the judgment in view here are temporal, not eternal. The judgment was physical death (cf. vv. 4, 20, 26), not eternal damnation.

The Bible Knowledge Commentary, Old Testament, An Exposition of the Scriptures by Dallas Seminary Faculty, p. 1261
The example of an Israelite lending money or anything else that could be lent at interest, to another Israelite, and receiving interest on it (a sin according to Ezekiel 18), demonstrates that temporal punishment (capital punishment under the Mosaic law) is in view in Ezekiel 18, not eternal punishment.

Therefore, Ezekiel 18 can't be used to argue for eternal punishment. I do believe that the Bible teaches eternal punishment (though not loss of salvation once having been eternally saved), but Ezekiel 18 isn't one such Biblical passage.

Oh yes. We aren't under condemnation for our sins because Jesus already took the punishment for our sins on the cross. For that reason sin isn't the issue in salvation. The issue, and the only reason a person is under condemnation is because he does not avail himself of God's offer of salvation by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. When a person receives Jesus as Savior he is no longer under condemnation no matter how much he may sin. The believer can come under divine discipline because of sin (see Hebrews 12:4-11), but he cannot lose his eternal salvation.

The worst sin of all time is the murder of Jesus Christ , and who so ever will condemn this sin and side with Jesus Christ and oppose this sin and their own sin , and seek out Jesus with faith can have their sin removed , and if they sin again their sin can be remove again to repent , and repent and repent every time to stop the sin and turn away , as God will forgive the sin of His followers were their souls will live for ever

Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit".

Matthew 10:27 "What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. 28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell".

The problem is what's written in Romans 8 and Galatians 6, the New Covenant, as it's about eternal death.

Romans 8
[13] For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Galatians 6
[7] Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
[8] For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Actually, neither of these verses refer to eternal death either.
Quote:
Romans 8
[13] For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
The Bible speaks of different categories of death.

Physical death is separation of the soul from the body: 2 Corinthians 5:8; Luke 16:22

Spiritual death is separation from God in time: Romans 5:12 and 6:23

The second death is eternal separation from God: Revelation 20:12-15

Positional death in which the believer is identified and united with Jesus in His death: Romans 6:5-14; Colossians 3:3

Sexual death which is self explanatory: Genesis 18:11; Hebrews 11:12

Carnal death which is the believer out of fellowship and under the control of the sin nature. Every time a person sins he gets out of fellowship and is in a state of carnality: Romans 8:6; Ephesians 5:14. In Ephesians 5:14 the carnal believer is told to awake and rise from the dead. He has not lost his salvation but sin in the life of the believer disrupts the moment by moment rapport between God and the believer until the sin is simply named to God as per 1 John 1:9.

Operational death to which Romans 8:13 refers is the believer out of fellowship for extended periods which results in a non-productive spiritual life. James 2:26 and Revelation 3:1 also refer to this category of death.

Quoting a portion of Dr. James A. Witmer's commentary on Romans 8:13:
Each Christian is to refuse to follow the inclinations and desires of his sin nature. He is to deny the efforts of that nature to impose its lifestyle on him (cf. Titus 2:12). The reason is that a sinful manner of life results in death. This does not suggest that a believer who sins will face eternal death in hell; instead, it means he will not enjoy his spiritual life. He will seem like an unsaved person (1 Cor. 3:1-4) and will be unable to enjoy the indwelling presence of the Spirit.

The Bible Knowledge Commentary, New Testament, An Exposition of the Scriptures by Dallas Seminary Faculty, p 270.
Of course the terms 'Physical death, spiritual death, positional death, sexual death, carnal death, and operational death' are not found in the Bible, but they are vocabulary terms to distinguish between the different categories of death to which the Bible does refer.

Quote:
Galatians 6
[7] Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
[8] For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
A man will reap what he sows. But the believer can never lose his eternal salvation. He can however reap divine judgment in time and loss of rewards and privileges in the eternal state. And it is with regard to the issue of eternal rewards and privileges, and even perhaps, blessings in time, that Paul is here using the term 'eternal life.' The believer who advances spiritually and sows to please the Spirit will reap a harvest that will last forever. See 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 concerning rewards at the judgment seat of Christ.

Exodus is pretty far back to be depending on real revelation. Unless you're a full-blown Jew, those early books aren't very useful. Okay, throw stones, but it had to be said. How about some Leviticus and Numbers stuff now? Yeah! LOL
