Two threads merged together. I looked at the newer thread, and it also included mostly Youtube links to Christmas songs, so it appeared to be redundant. Then I found the same song posted in both, confirming the correctness of the merge, and now deleted as a duplicate post.
For many, many years, it didn't really feel like Christmas until I heard Darlene Love sing Christmas: Baby Please Come Home on the Dave Letterman show.
I was deeply saddened when Dave decided to hang 'em up. This was Ms Love's last performance on Dave's last Christmas show.

Boney M led by Liz Mitchell, a Christian herself and a lovely human being. Yep, this is one of the songs (released 1978) that the music group I lead sing every year in public performances. I always encourage the group to put their absolute ALL into Oh My Lord to give it that exciting 'gospel' feel. We have 4 back-to-back gigs coming up starting this Friday ...the 21st, the 22nd, the 23rd and the 24th.
