Do you REALLY need to ask yourself that question after checking out the job requirements?

"Normal" men desirous of lasting, earthbound love with a soul mate need not apply.

I had this out with a friend who was Catholic, in Poland. She definitely fancied the priest, but lamented that he'd taken a vow of celibacy. And he seemed like a fairly cool guy. I just totally couldn't understand the mentality of their system - talk about an abomination. As for genuflecting when on the opposite side of the road to a church (because Jesus body and blood are in a box at the front of the Church)....

Strange and unnatural prohibitions will lead to problems.

A bigger question is why the Catholic Church continues to implement rules that have repeatedly lead to huge problems. They'd rather continue in the abuse and dysfunction than wake up and change.

Too bad the Catholic church doesn't have someone in overall charge. Then they could fire the miscreants. They don't have a union do they?

To bad the rest of the Christian brotherhood aren’t in an uproar about the catholic rapist as they are about two consenting adults in love sharing time with each other.

It's not just a problem with Catholics, I think it is a problem with men because boyscout leaders have also been found to molest young boys and also most of the men in jail for sexual crimes are men and the vast majority of sexual predators are men. Women just don't seem to have this problem very often. I think it is a chromosome problem. XY
