So what's your view concerning global warming? I want to know because it seems like most the views I've seen from other believers, is they don't believe the earth is warming up. What about here?

I believe that any Weather changes which are unusually extreme are because of the lack of faith in Jesus and His abilities to take care of His people ... So if churches are closing because of the numbers are down then apostasy is in the season of heaven where sin has abound then God protection is in lack , as God hand if off..... God needs numbers of repentant believers to turn it around as sin brings a dry climate

In US it is a political debate, but it is actually about what caused warming, not whether or not there is a warming. Many do not believe it is man made, and that even if it was, spending money on it won't stop it. I voted 'yes', but I think the climate changes naturally, and if man has something to do with it, it is minimal to none.

I believe even most conservative Christians believe the earth is warming up (since its kinda hard to ignore global temperature readings over time as even confirmed by NASA...shhh, don't tell the people who voted "no"
), but disagree that humans are a big part of the cause. It always funny and depressing to hear anyone make fun of global warming after a winter storm or cold snap...of course then I have to once again explain the basics of how the jet stream works and what happens when it breaks down ;p

What worries me the most is the endtimers that secretly want the earth to burn up so it will speed up the coming of Jesus...if they are wrong, we're all screwed and they share more of the blame if the earth does burn up.

I think no matter which side you fall on, we should all want to develop new forms of energy, or should I say, the consumer should want it.

I'm skeptical. I've seen contradicting reports regarding it, and now instead of "global warming", we're being told it's "climate change".

If it is truly warming...how do we know that it was caused by man?

I completely agree. But historically, government forcing us to do so usually doesn't work out well for the consumer.

Mans fault.

ASV Revelation 11:18 And the nations were wroth, and thy wrath came, and the time of the dead to be judged, and the time to give their reward to thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to them that fear thy name, the small and the great; and to destroy them that destroy the earth.

If we were to be forced to do so now, it would cost people a fortune because things like solar energy and so forth aren't effective enough and not being mass produced as a result. So it's going to take a new invention to make it effective. I think people need to get on this idea because it would finally free us from corrupt oil companies. I'm thinking though the recent evidence might support man made global warming. They say the sun is not causing the increase in temperature, and other natural sources of carbon dioxide aren't increasing. The only other option is us. I'm just of the belief that we can't keep living like this forever. Pumping all that gas into the atmosphere without it having some kind of adverse effect.

If a modern geologist talked to the people of Pompeii, I wonder if the people would have told him they just need more faith in their gods to prevent the volcano from errupting Just a thought..
