Marriage after divorce? Is it biblical? (beliefs, scripture, pray, sinned)

Ugh....I'm sure I'll be persecuted to death for this, but I've been married twice and divorced twice.
I just do not see what the big deal is if it isn't your fault that the marriage ended. Couldn't a "dead spouse" mean a spouse who is simply "dead to you" because you divorced the big jerk?
I say if you find a great Christian guy who puts the Lord first, go for it!!!! You ARE too young for God not to bless you with another husband.

No compromise, however, there is a loophole. You're a female and it does not say you can't divorce the bum, right?
OK jokes aside, you have every right to get married again. That is if you really like that kind of torture, go for it!

I am not, nor have I ever been Catholic, I am Christian. Old testament speaks of men having several wives, but they were breaking the laws as well. Women were possessions at the time. When Moses came along and through God he wrote the 10 commandments. The rules (10 COMMANDMENTS) were "set in stone" people then realized the errors of their ways and if they were caught with more than a wife they were stoned to death. My understanding anyway.
That is untrue. We are following a paganized tradition handed down to us by the Roman Catholic Church. Many men in the Old Testament had more then one wife. They were never stoned nor is there a hint that they were in error because of it or committing adultery.
Romans 7:1-2 Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives? For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to [her] husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of [her] husband. So then if, while [her] husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man.
1 Corinthians 7:39 A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; butif her husband dies, she is at liberty to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord.
Even though a man can marry more than one woman without being charged with "adultery", a woman cannot marry more than one man (Romans 7:2-3, 1 Corinthians 7:39), and that if a woman is involved with another man, she will be charged with adultery. The reason the man is not mentioned by Paul is because, according to the law, a man could marry another woman while his first wife was still alive and not be guilty of adultery.
For most of the world, polygamy is unnatural, just as righteousness and honesty have become increasingly "unnatural." Our perception of things is relativistic -- it depends on our own spiritual condition and the way our minds have been trained. We, as bondservants of Christ, ought to be trained by the Word of God and not by the world.

This only flies if you believe that the Word of God was never altered unintentionally during it's many translations from one language to another, or more importantly, never deliberately altered by those with their own agendas. The more I read about the history of the Bible, the less convinced I am that it reflects the letter of the law nor the spirit of the law. I think one needs to read between the lines to get at the truth.
The sexism and chauvinism is so blatant you could make toilet paper out of it.
