Business is business. However, if I had _promised_ not to that, I would keep my word.

World Citizen,

Speak to the person dirctly, If you don't feel up to or she doesn't listen to you go to an elder for them to have a word to the person.

I agree it is not honest to say one thing "I will not take your clients" then do exactly that.

Jesus say let your yes be yes and no be no. I take that to mean be honest!!!

This is an interesting subject to me because I got to watch the person's reaction after she had been caught.
I know that a couple of the elderly lady's customer's told her that this was happening. (which I believe was the right thing to do..)

And, I got to watch from a distance and see the person go from door to door trying to figure out who told on her.... She didn't feel bad about being caught doing someone wrong who had shown her kindness... she was mad because she'd been caught and she wanted to know who told on her...

Yesterday, I started praying that she would be convicted about her wrongdoing instead because I knew she'd be at church.

We can't, as christians, leave our christian ethics behind when we go out into the world -- or, can we??

No, we can't. We are suppose to live our lives as examples. Behavior like this makes people question Christians and call us hypocrites.
