I am not uncomfortable with anything. What is your definition of "forcing their views." Nobody is forcing anything on you. The choice of accepting or rejecting the Gospel is entirely up to you. If you do not want to hear the message, that does not mean that it is being forced on you. It seems that for non Christians the only to end the anti Christian hostility is for Christians to just shut up and go away. Why, because you don't want to hear it. Does the Truth get under your skin? Does it make you uncomfortable? BTW, execution by beheading is already established under federal law, Public Law 102-14 http://www.staticbrain.com/archive/m...ith-your-head/
Why do people who force their views down the throats of others always close with something like, "Does the Truth get under your skin?"
No. The Truth does not. Having your beliefs, which are not necessarily true at all, forced into every corner of our lives (whether we want to listen and adopt them or not) does bother me.
Have a discussion with people. Stop thinking you've got all the answers wrapped up. I have been to the frontiers of science and spirituality. I can assure you that you do not.
Why do people throw around the vague term "respect" so much? What do you mean by respect? Does that mean we have to give equal validity to your beliefs, even if those beliefs run contrary to ours? Respect is such a vague term that means different things to different people. Why don't you say specifically what you mean by respect.
While nobody can outlaw what is in a Christians heart, they can outlaw the public expression of that heart.
Maybe you will understand what most people mean if I put it this way....Respect the rights of others to believe or not believe what they want. That doesn't mean you have to agree with them.
When do you expect Christians to be respectful of other faiths and cultures? Will this turn around take place in my life time?

I have already stated that everyone has the right to reject the Truth or not. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. I am not trying to force anyone to accept the Truth, but I will preach it. Just because someone does not want to hear the Truth does not make the preaching of it disrespectful.
Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
I guess I'll be an out law then.....Id rather disobey mans' law than the God. I would pray that we as Christians would be strengthened in that hour.

It takes an extraordinary humbleness to know Truth, not arrogance that you've got all the answers.
Please. Stop referring to your beliefs as "the Truth". You will never win people to your beliefs.
