Is a voice I heard that of God or an Angel, or could it be from a lost family member looking over me? Could my mind actually "create" a voice needed at that time, a voice of reason from within?
I have heard and seen things in the past, but cannot with any certainty state they were God's signs.
Everyone's experience is their own, and personal. Who is anyone else to say what is right or wrong for that person, or that whatever they did experience was delusional, or wrong? I, for one, cannot.
One day I was in an old basement...of my old house..It was well over a hundred years old...It was early morning and the dust I inhaled felt like poison. I stepped out side and saw the sun rise. It was blood red..I said to myself. I am not afraid to die. Then I heard a voice that almost seemed audible. The voice said- I have something for you worse than death. That is as close as I got to actually hearing God.
I'm so glad that you and your child did not get hurt. The voice I also heard was a womans voice. I'll be honest, I always thought if God was going to speak to his children, I thought it was be a male voice, but I quess he can also use his angels to send messges.
God is neither male, nor female. God is both, and neither. A woman's voice isn't necessarily an angel.
To answer your question, all the time. Our conversations are not general, but very personal, so I won't share them. But yes, we talk to one another all the time. God doesn't always speak when I do, but makes it known that He is listening.
I was just wandering if anyone else out there had the same experience that I have had before.
Once when I was sleeping I heard a aubible voice say to me " When God speaks to your spirit you will know that it is God"
And once again as I was sleeping say to me "God is your strength"
I would like to hear the other experiences that people have had with hearing God speak to them aubibly.
And people please if you have something negative to say, just keep it to yourself, this is for people who have really had the experience and enjoying sharing what God has said to them. Thank you!! I will enjoy hearing what God has said to other people.
It was like someone was next to me while I was sleeping, talking into my ears. But when I woke up know one was there.
God speaks in many different ways, an aubible voice, The Holy Spirit, dreams, visions, His Word, circumstances, and other ways. So, I am not saying that hearing an aubible voice is better than any other way that God speaks, I am interested in hearing about other people's experience who have had this type of encounter.
Also don't take this thread as a way of trying to learn how to hear God aubibly, because this can't be taught. God chooses how He wants to speak to us individually.
So, if you have not heard God speak to you aubibly, or have not received a message from God by an Angel, that does not mean that God is not speaking to you.
So, please don't take this thread as a means of over looking the other ways that God speaks, I only wanted to hear of others who had this type of experience.
1 Samuel 3:10 is my favorite verse in Scripture and this scripture always jumped out at me and I never really understood why.
But I actually had the opportunity to hear my named called as Samuels name was called. But you can read about that experience further down in the post.
This Thread has been around for 7 years yet I'm just now getting around to it, of course God speak to us sometime in (a) (the ) Audible Voice. We can tell that it is the voice of God because it has a personality to it of( Divine Love ), and a quite Still small sort of authority to his voice.
The first time that I heard the audible voice of God was when I was a elementary school child thinking about running away from home. God would call me by my first name( Time After Time) and communicate with me through my spirit on a level that was higher than a spoken language. God in his infinite ways was telling me that running away from home was a bad decision on my Part.
I Remember turning around and searching for the person that was talking to me, but no one else was on the street, yet I kept on hearing the voice.
God would used the audible Voice of God to get my attention, only then speak through the language of the spirit Realm which is just knowing what God wants you to do independently from spoken words.
I also had an experience which is the (unction )of the( Holy Spirit) directing you to do something without receiving Direction from an (Audible Voice). I Was stopped at a stop light that turned green but, God told me By a extremely strong feeling that I must not go through the intersection. Just a matter of seconds later a car ran the red light going 80 to 90 miles per hour, that would have T-Bone me. The car striking the driver side of my vehicle doing severe damage to my vehicle and maybe perhaps even me, this type of accident have caused death to both drivers and passengers in the past.

An angel's urging or a relative giving verbal guidance....a whole different matter.
But, God Himself...you know...there is no question.
Speaking of 'authority'...the dead give away, besides, is, to me, 'He' says, "I" and 'Me'.
Hahaha...seems obvious, but worth mentioning.
And as said earlier...what I have mentioned ...there is an androgyny about It.
(Tho, for me...a leaning towards masculine.)
My first time...way afterwards, I thought, "Oh now I know why He was referred to as a 'He'."

I receive 'unctions' often....even as a fork is half way to my mouth...my hand stops midway
as my mind is infused with something very important.
I am told to do things often as in a 'feeling' to not follow the written directions, they are incorrect.
But, not a voice...but my whole body being pushed and overcome by a 'breeze' telling
me, CLEARLY, to give $$ to this particular person.
When I looked to see what I had...my mind (ego, devil) said, give a Five...so It came again....
"No, the twenty"...without words...but a definite 'feeling'.
I happened to have been short on $$ for my high mortgage, even...so what happened ?
Later in the day a person liked something at my house, not for sale....gave me $325 for it.
(I'm an artist.) Made my mortgage easily for another month.
(Of course...later that year...a friend 'felt moved' to give me $100,000 to just pay the whole darn thing off...
but, she doesn't post here, LOL) Thank you, Lord.
She knew it was God moving her, she said.
Lucky me, she is a good listener!!!

Amen Miss H.....this is a perfect description of what it's like to walk in the Spirit. You learn not to let your carnal mind reason away your blessing, you just move as the wind moves you. He does stuff with me all the time, then tells me later what it was for.....sometimes. Sometimes I just take it in faith and keep going. No matter either way, eh? Peace
