What I'd like to know is: Why do they always see the Virgin Mary

What is it with Mary? She shows up in restrooms (no kidding) and in many other places. Several years ago some people saw her image on the floor of a restroom.

Why don't they ever see the apostle Paul, or Peter or Jesus?

One time, listening to the harlem boy's choir I heard Jesus.

Another time, when my sweet bay magnolia bloomed, I smelled Jesus.

I don't see the problem with using all the senses.

But it is, I believe, only "real" for the individual experiencing it.

That's exactly what happened when it was claimed that the Virgin Mary was seen on a burnt piece of toast. It ended up being a different Mary. Mary Pickford.
