Good books for bible study group (hell, believe, advent, spiritual)

Hello! My lifegroup which is a bible study group is looking for a christian book or study guide book to read for the next several weeks. (6-8) weeks. We are all right out of college and would love something exciting and will help grow us closer to each other and of course to the lord!


PLEASE HELP!! All suggestions greatly appreciated!

Kay Arthur has very good and spiritually reaching teaching called Precept upon Precept but you really have to pull out your resources and also pay for it. Now if you want something free then Bible Study Fellowship is the one for you. It is a 32 week long, 7 years teaching and everyone from all demoniations come together for this; it could be upward of 200 attendees depending on where you live. There is also Beth Moore bible studies but I find it very elementary for my personal taste.

Purpose-Driven Life is excellent. I took a group of folks through that one and had folks of all ages and walks of life and various stages in spiritual maturity really grow during that time.

I also read a book a while back called Wild Goose Chase that was excellent.

I also highly recommend The Bondage Breaker (which also has a study guide you can purchase) and Stomping Out the Darkness.

Personally, all 4 of those books should be on every Christian's 'must read' list.

Besides the ones Alpha has recommended ( I have two of those), I would recommend for your age group one by Dr's Henry Cloud and John Townsend called Boundaries

I love their books. I rad one from them on small groups that was really good. And I believe Cloud has a radio program on XM too. (New Life Now...or something like that.)
