That sounds like it is going to be some interesting research. If I were you, I would attend different Churches to get a “feel” of how “different” they can be.
The question, “Is Christianity sexist?” The plain answer is “NO” but “religion” can be, and often is, sexist. I believe that comes from man’s traditions that have been (for lack of a better term) incorporated into Christianity. That is why many Churches are so different.

You can download this Bible for free. There are also many add ons you can download. It’s safe, I’ve had it for years with no problems along with many people I know. Many different translations, commentaries, a search feature… you can literally find all the verses with the word “woman” and “women” with a click of a mouse, along with any other thing you are looking for in the Bible. It also has a strong’s concordance, and Thayer’s Greek definitions. As a matter of fact, I should go there to see what they have available that is new since the last time.
