No I am not and I no longer adhere to any man made creeds....God has revealed what is false and what is not to me.

You should try it sometime....you will be amazed at what God reveals to you when you leave carnal men and their traditions/doctrines behind.

Mark,

I'm sorry that you have been hurt by the Catholic Church. All Christian denominations have their share of hypocrites and downright evil individuals, and the Catholic Church is no exception.

With that said, you are free to leave the Church, and you can even rewrite history in an attempt to justify that decision, but I'll stick with the scholarship that backs up 2,000 years of tradition, not the opinions of a bolshie guy named Marks.

Christy,

If only "God knows what is best" and what is in a person's heart, how is it that YOU know that I, DreamingSpires,am "mired in carnality?"

Did God reveal this fact to you?

A response from you: I'll stick with the scholarship that backs up 2,000 years of tradition

I think I'll stick with GOD and what HE says is TRUTH rather than man's tradition no matter how old it is. You will know them by their fruit....do you remember Jesus saying this?
