Me, being a young male, am constantly surrounded by curse words. In partucular I am talking about the alteration of gosh darnet and Yelling at Jesus. I often find when I tell them to stop they do it more to other me. Should i keep telling them not to or stop but is it a sin to not stand up for the name? An help is thanked.

Leave them alone. They will have to answer for their own transgretions. It's nice of you to try and stand up for what you believe but you can't preach to those that don't want to hear. Keep up the Good Work though.

There is no greater fool in all the universe than he who takes God's or Jesus' name in vain.

They are fools and will reap what they sow. Explain to them that those are not words you wish to hear and out of respect for you, they shouldn't say it, at least while in your presence.

Oh my gosh is not against God. it's just an expression. I use it and I get no bad feelings or nudgings.

I think it mostly depends on what you believe to be against God.

If there is profanity being spoken in your workplace, you can see your supervisor/boss about that....that should not be going on at all in the workplace.

If you have friends that continue to do this, even though you've asked them to stop....I'd find me some new friends.

If people are using curses in your ears at work. Tell them you are a believer in Jesus Christ, give them a witness of Jesus Christ. Then pray for these people that these demons who are saying this through these people are Abased in Jesus Name. Ask the Lord, he has a plan to help you. Do not hate or curse these people back or the Lord Jesus will not help you
