How can a Massachusetts Senate candidate possibly offend 39 percent of voters in her state? If it's Democrat Attorney General Martha Coakley, she would tell devout Catholics not to bother working in an emergency room (H/T Jim Hoft - Big Government). In the audio clip below, Ms. Coakley chokes on a question from radio host Ken Pittman referring to the conscience clause.
if you are a devout catholic and you are a nurse and you invoke the conscience clause then hospital mgmt shouldn't have you in the ER because during the course of a year there probably will be a woman who presents to the ER who will need an emergent abortion.
I'm not sure what the problem is..
Emergency rooms aren't where people get educated on contraception other reproductive ideas.. because its an EMERGENCY room.. so the question from the host was ridiculous.. and Coakley should have recognized the hosts ignorance..

Ahhhh....yes that elitist attitude. Maybe that is why your side lost there?
