Thank you!!!

If you have no idea what Serpent Mound is, can I assume you are either new to the area or underexposed. In addition to Serpent Mound, which is at least a day trip from Loveland , check out Fort Ancient just up the Little Miami Trail from Loveland. I believe it is further than you want to attempt to hike/bike with a group of young girls. Probably requires some transporation, but its historical significance is something anyone in Ohio should be aware of. Besides that, it may have some of the best fall foliage around.

i don't know precisely what girl scout troops want to see, but perhaps this winter a day at the Krohn conservatory and ice-skating on the lake at Eden Park would be enjoyable? You could also take them to the top of the Carew tower downtown. It is like $2 a person.

What age Girl Scouts? Daisy and Brownie scouts have different interests and abilities than Junior scouts.

Hey, Corie, hope you Googled Serpent Mound. In certain parts of the world, the most important visible artifact in midwestern US is the Serpent Mound. If you are among some archeologists in Syria and you tell them you live 50 miles from the Serpent Mound, you will be a celebrity. It is, of course, an Indian burial mound rich with history. The observation tower is safe for little kids and gives a great view of the mound.

Any of the local county or state parks (Sharon Woods, Fort Ancient, Caesar Creek, Hueston Woods). Cincinnati Nature Center (in Milford). Canoeing or rafting on Little Miami. Cincinnati Zoo. Newport Aquarium. Corn mazes, fall festivals/farms. Ault Park/ Tree Trail hike. Mt. Airy Forest/ Arboretum. Museum center. Freedom Center. Dagaz Acres Outdoor Adventure Course. Camp Kern. These are some of the things I know I would and did enjoy doing growing up.

When I was in college I interned at the Heritage Village Museum (formerly Sharon Woods Village) in Sharon Woods park--they look like they've really downsized since then, but they might be able to do a program on pioneer cooking or social customs for a Girl Scout troop: Heritage Village

Also of interest maybe the Gorman Heritage Farm in Evendale: Gorman Heritage Farm
