Does anyone remember the name of the place on 6th St across from the Blue Note in the early 70's ? I think it specialized in seafood and was pretty upscale (in atmosphere and fare but not in price) I'm thinking St Louis was in the name. Thanks, it's driving me and my brother nuts.

I had the fried cod lunch special once every week in the late 70's at McAlpin's 5th floor restaurant, but that was on 4th St. I worked down there in that era and don't remember any fish place on 6th.

There was a seafood buffet called New Orleans (I think) near central downtown but not sure it was on 6th. Late 70's when I was in there.

I remember a place called The Underground New Orleans in that era, but it was a steak place. It featured one of those steaks that was so big, two people couldn't eat it. I think it was in the 400 block of Walnut or Main.
