Among all the ranting, I just thought I would throw in a huge complement for the City of Mason street crews. During the recent snows, there has not been one day the street in front of my house was not bare pavement by noon, and I could drive anywhere in the city with complete safety. Yesterday, the street in front of my house was plowed 3 times by noon, the first time at 4:00 AM. If there is a better crew in the area, please let me know. I will acknowledge most of Mason is relatively flat, but they still do one H--l of a job! One of the small reasons I enjoy living here.

To "piggyback" of off kjbrill, I want to say the city of Cincinnati has been excellent with their handling of the recent snows (considering the time span all the snow has fallen). People need to have more respect for the road crews and realize what all their jobs entail. Coming home at about 8:30 p.m., I saw three plow trucks staged on the shoulder of I-71, now I see why. As I'm currently looking out of my window, there's a steady snow falling, AGAIN! Kudos to the road crews.

I (Clevelander) have noticed this, as well. It has even been warmer and less snowier here then it has been just 40 minutes south in Akron. Feeling like the world is about to end when Cleveland has the mildest winter in Ohio!!! BIZARRO WORLD!

As long as it sells bread, eggs and milk I'm happy.
