Which city would you consider to be your closest peer?

For Charlotte, this is something of a tough one. Our closest peers seem to be state capitals/college towns (Indianapolis, Austin), something that we obviously aren't.

You've got to be kidding! San Francisco is head and shoulders above DC; a ctiy that is basically a ghetto where all the middle-class and up live outside the city noted for crime and corruption.

Yeah, I'd say Memphis for NOLA, although a combination of Memphis, Mobile, and Savannah would be more accurate.

False. Ever hear of Dupont Circle, Friendship Heights, Georgetown, Foggy Bottom, Capital Hill? When's the last time you been to DC?
