Yes, for work/family visiting, which has nothing to do with the title of the thread: TOURISM.

Nobody goes to Houston and Dallas for tourism.

Sure they do.

Houston has one of the largest English speaking theater districts after New York and London. They also have a symphony orchestra, ballet, opera etc.

Now, not everyone is interested in cultural things like these but you have to admit that many are. And as Houston's population grows, so will the cultural offerings.

Florida is 4th, largely bolstered by Orlando.

Florida is ranked higher with International visitors.

It may not be a hot spot, but it is hot for visitor Dollars. we don't care what these visitors call themselves just as long as they leave us their cash, and Houston gets over 30M of these people every year. That is not something to turn your nose up at.
