The largest proportion of any state, closer to 36%, but that is huge none the less.

Detroit, St.Louis, East Texas, Houston, Dallas, Alabama(about 26% Black with twice the population of Mississippi), Louisiana, and Georgia.

Contrary to popular belief, the South is not full of white Jesus freaks...but PRIMARILY white and black Jesus freaks ...African Americans have always been a large part of the south, whether it be in positive or negative aspects.

How about any city that has a large Black American population. Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Atlanta, Washington DC, New Orleans, Hampton Roads, Baltimore, Philadelphia, etc. etc. etc.

Atlanta because of the universities and other opportunities- Atlanta has a lot of black gay males which makes the (hetero) women to (hetero) men ratio a very off balanced.
