18Montclair, I've been playing around with the numbers for commuter rates between Sacramento & Bay Area, but I keep getting 3.8% total. Is that right? I imagined the commuter rate to be at least a minimum of 5%.
Its been a while since I looked but I think that sounds about right-If I recall correctly, most of the Sac people working in the Bay Area commute to Solano and Contra Costa Counties.

I'd love to see Sacramento added to the Bay Area CSA someday. But I just wanted some clarifications on it beforehand.
Im actually indifferent because its all a matter of commuter percentages and I think if it were ever to happen we'd have to see a huge influx of jobs and companies in Solano County or Contra Costa and that is not very likely in the near future.
^^^I agree, I dont know about Sacramento being apart of the SF CSA. It doesnt make any sense to me right now. If/when all the valley cities grow together and over to the Bay Area then perhaps. Im hoping that day does not come, the valley land is to important agriculturally. This is the richest most fertile land in the world, with a 365 day/year growing season.
i love north caliornia (the bay area)- the diversity, the density, the natural beauty...
I like north texas, it just lacks what i like (urbanity)- fort worth needs some pt for crying out loud!
If that's the case.... We're working on it. And I'm guessing city buses don't count and a diesel train from Fort Worth to Dallas doesn't count?
Remember, these cities weren't built with the traditional urban stlye. But that's starting to change...
