- a lot of racial diversity ( a lot of Latinas preferably )
- a cost of living which is not through the roof
- does not have an off the roof crime rate
- isn't suffering severely from the economy (or won't be suffering much from the economy in the future)
- Latinas who wouldn't hesitate to date an Indian guy
- lots to do to keep a person busy
All are the biggest states in the country, meaning all will have plenty of things to do. I am biased so I will say NY first and then TX. The economy automatically eliminates CA or FL from the discussion otherwise both would have been great alternatives. Housing prices may eliminate CA as well unless you want to try Sacramento which IMO offers just as much as places like Orlando and Tampa. All known for Latin American presence.

Florida is bad and didn't ever have the key industries of California either. Meaning even in a good economy the jobs are notorious for low pay low benefits and service industry oriented. However there is no state income tax which is apprealing for both TX and FL.

Ya every FL city is in double digit unemployment just like every CA city right now with the exception of Tallahassee. The better states for you right now are NY and TX, both can offer wide variety of different backgrounds, reasonable COL, good economy, and you get what you pay for in both in this recession.
