Just comparing how the two are booming but in different ways. Dt DC's boom is mostly ultra new and somewhat sterile imo where dt LA's is refurbishing with of course some new. That's all.
Yes I forget what thread it was but someone posted a youtube video of some adjacent office park next to DC as an example of how DC's outer neighborhoods are "more urban" compared to Houston i think, but anyways I was not impressed at all, looked very generic, sterile, and lifeless, not something I want replicated in LA
I assume it's called jealousy of DC. Every opportunity he can find he will bring up DC in negative terms. Case in point, this thread even though it has nothing to do with DC. Same old boring story of how he used to live in the DC area and how DC sucks. LOL!

I actually like DC just not fond of all the new development surrounding it, however over time I'm sure they will gain some character
